Hayfield Hawks (Alexandria, VA) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Thursday as they saw their lacrosse team nudge the visiting Lake Braddock Bruins (Burke, VA), 10-9 in a non-league game.

With the victory, Hayfield advances its record to 6-2 on the season. The Hawks travel to Woodson (Fairfax, VA) to play the Cavaliers in a non-league game on Saturday, April 12. The Cavaliers come into the game with a record of 4-3. Woodson won 11-7 in their recent non-league game against Carlisle (Carlisle, PA)

The Bruins now sport a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fairfax for a Patriot game on Friday, April 25.
