In Thursday's league test, the Hoggard Vikings (Wilmington, NC) lacrosse team overwhelmed the host South Brunswick Cougars (Southport, NC), by a count of 18-2.

Next up, the Vikings battle the Laney Buccaneers (Wilmington, NC) in a Mideastern test, on Tuesday, April 22. Hoggard will attempt to move on its 9-4 season record. The Buccaneers enter the test with a 11-1 record after their 22-0 league win over West Brunswick (Shallotte, NC).

The Cougars (1-10) will now prepare for their test against Cape Fear Academy (Wilmington, NC). The Hurricanes enter the non-league test with a 5-4 record. In their last test, Cape Fear Academy topped Cary Christian (Cary, NC), 12-2, in a non-league test.
