In Thursday's non-league challenge, the visiting Mattawan Wildcats lacrosse squad scored a good 19-3 triumph over the Lakeview Spartans.

The Wildcats (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Vicksburg (Vicksburg, MI). The Bulldogs go into the Division 2 District 10 challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, Vicksburg knocked off Portage Central (Portage, MI), 10-5, in a league challenge.

Next, the Spartans clash with the Stoney Creek Cougars (Rochester Hills, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, April 12. Lakeview will attempt to better on its 1-4 season record. The Cougars go into the challenge with a 4-0 record after their 11-7 non-league win over Notre Dame Prep (Pontiac, MI).
