New York High School Lacrosse - Saugerties overwhelms New Paltz

The Saugerties Sawyers lacrosse squad scored 12 points and limited the host New Paltz Huguenots to 5 in the Sawyers league triumph on Thursday.

The Sawyers now own a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they host Goshen Central for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 11. Saugerties will clash with a Gladiators squad coming off a 13-9 league win over Washingtonville (Washingtonville, NY). The Gladiators record now stands at 1-1.

With the loss, New Paltz falls to 2-3 on the year. The Huguenots travel to Our Lady of Lourdes (Poughkeepsie, NY) to clash with the Warriors in a Section 9 Division III challenge on Thursday, April 24. The Warriors go into the challenge with a record of 2-3.
