South Carolina High School Lacrosse - North Myrtle Beach sneaks past St. James

April 10, 2025: Murrells Inlet, SC 29576

Fans at Thursday's league test between the North Myrtle Beach Chiefs (Little River, SC) and the host St. James Sharks (Murrells Inlet, SC), witnessed North Myrtle Beach's lacrosse squad hold off St. James by a count of 6-5.

The Chiefs (8-3) will now prepare for their test against Waccamaw (Pawley's Island, SC). The Warriors enter the non-league test with a 2-9 record. In their last test, Waccamaw was nipped by Bishop England (Charleston, SC), 18-3, in a league test.

Next, the Sharks battle the Socastee Braves (Myrtle Beach, SC) in a 5A District 5 test, on Monday, April 14. St. James will attempt to move on its 5-8 season record. The Braves enter the test with a 6-7 record after their 18-1 non-league loss to May River (Bluffton, SC).
