In Thursday's league challenge, the host Traverse City West Titans lacrosse squad scored a tight 15-13 triumph over the Petoskey Northmen.

The Titans (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Midland (Midland, MI). The Chemics go into the non-league challenge with a 0-3 record. In their last challenge, Midland was edged by Heritage (Saginaw, MI), 16-4, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Northmen clash with the St. Mary's Prep Eaglets (Orchard Lake, MI) in a Freelance challenge, on Saturday, April 12. Petoskey will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Eaglets go into the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 5-3 non-league win over Canton (Canton, MI).
