California High School Softball - Banning bounces Desert Hot Springs

The Banning Broncos softball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting Desert Hot Springs Golden Eagles to 6 in the Broncos league win on Thursday.

The Broncos now sport a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cathedral City for a Sun Valley battle on Monday, April 14. Banning will confront a Lions team coming off a 21-11 league win over Desert Mirage (Thermal, CA). The Lions record now stands at 6-12.

With the loss, Desert Hot Springs moves to 3-9 on the season. The Golden eagles host Perris (Perris, CA) to confront the Panthers in a non-league battle on Monday, April 14. The Panthers come into the battle with a record of 2-6. Perris lost 10-0 in their recent league battle against Rancho Verde (Moreno Valley, CA)
