The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Eastview Lightning (Apple Valley, MN) and the visiting Eagan Wildcats (Eagan, MN), observed Eastview's softball team get by Eagan by a tally of 6-5.

The Lightning (1-1) will now prepare for their bout against Lakeville South (Lakeville, MN). The Cougars go into the South Suburban Conference bout with a 0-1 record. In their last bout, Lakeville South was nipped by Rosemount (Rosemount, MN), 4-1, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Wildcats clash with the Prior Lake Lakers (Prior Lake, MN) in a South Suburban Conference bout, on Friday, April 11. Eagan will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record. The Lakers go into the bout with a 2-0 record after their 17-5 league win over Apple Valley (Apple Valley, MN).
