Louisiana High School Softball - East Ascension succumbs to Walker

In Thursday's league test, the Walker Wildcats (Walker, LA) softball squad overwhelmed the host East Ascension Spartans (Gonzales, LA), by a tally of 13-2.
Next, the Wildcats clash with the Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy Swamp Owls (Kenner, LA) in a non-league test, on Monday, April 14. Walker will attempt to advance on its 19-8 season record. The Swamp Owls go into the test with a 10-11 record after their 16-0 non-league win over Ursuline Academy (New Orleans, LA).
The Spartans (15-12) will now prepare for their test against Riverside Academy (Reserve, LA). The Rebels go into the non-league test with a 19-5 record. In their last test, Riverside Academy prevailed over Belle Chasse (Belle Chasse, LA), 9-6, in a non-league test.
