Mississippi High School Softball - Hatley gets by East Union

In Thursday's league match, the visiting Hatley Tigers softball team scored a tight 7-6 victory over the East Union Urchins.
The Tigers (15-7) will now prepare for their match against Smithville (Smithville, MS). The Seminoles go into the non-league match with a 9-10 record. In their last match, Smithville was nipped by Vardaman (Vardaman, MS), 14-7, in a league match.
In their next game, the Urchins battle the Itawamba Agricultural Indians (Fulton, MS) in a non-league match, on Saturday, April 12. East Union will attempt to better on its 17-3 season record. The Indians go into the match with a 22-5 record after their 6-3 league loss to Tishomingo County (Iuka, MS).
