California High School Softball - El Modena bounces Esperanza

The El Modena Vanguards softball team scored 5 runs and held the host Esperanza Aztecs to 0 in the Vanguards league win on Thursday.

The Vanguards now possess a 15-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pacifica for a Crestview battle on Tuesday, April 15. El Modena will confront a Mariners team coming off a 3-2 league win over Esperanza (Anaheim, CA). The Mariners record now stands at 12-7.

With the loss, Esperanza moves to 6-15 on the season. The Aztecs travel to Cypress (Cypress, CA) to confront the Centurions in a Crestview battle on Tuesday, April 15. The Centurions come into the battle with a record of 12-7.
