The Ridgewood Maroons triumphed over the host Hackensack Comets softball squad by a count of 17-2 in Thursday's league challenge.
Next, the Maroons play the Bergen Tech Knights (Hackensack, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, April 11. Ridgewood will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Knights enter the challenge with a 3-2 record after their 11-1 non-league win over Payne Tech (Newark, NJ).
The Comets (3-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Tenafly (Tenafly, NJ). The Tigers enter the non-league challenge with a 1-5 record. In their last challenge, Tenafly was routed by Teaneck (Teaneck, NJ), 12-1, in a league challenge.
