New Mexico High School Softball - Valencia bounces Highland

In Thursday's league match, the host Valencia Jaguars softball team scored a nice 15-0 win over the Highland Hornets.
The Jaguars (5-11) will now prepare for their match against Belen (Belen, NM). The Eagles come into the 4A District 5 match with a 10-10 record. In their last match, Belen notched a victory over Grants (Grants, NM), 17-6, in a league match.
In their next game, the Hornets confront the Hope Christian Huskies (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league match, on Friday, April 11. Highland will attempt to better on its 2-14 season record. The Huskies come into the match with a 9-4 record after their 19-9 league loss to Valley (Albuquerque, NM).
