James Madison Warhawks (Vienna, VA) backers left the game pleased Thursday as they saw their softball squad nudge the host Westfield Bulldogs (Chantilly, VA), 6-4 in a league game.

With the triumph, James Madison upgrades its record to 8-0 on the year. The Warhawks travel to Penfield (Penfield, NY) to play the Patriots in a non-league game on Thursday, April 17. The Patriots enter the game with a record of 0-2.

The Bulldogs now own a 4-4 record. They play next when they host Chantilly for a Concorde game on Tuesday, April 22. Westfield will play a Chargers squad coming off a 9-7 league loss to Oakton (Vienna, VA). The Chargers record now stands at 2-6.
