California High School Softball - Kennedy bested by Shafter

The Shafter Generals triumphed over the visiting Kennedy Thunderbirds softball squad by a count of 10-0 in Thursday's league challenge.

Next, the Generals play the Sanger West Hornets (Fresno, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, April 12. Shafter will attempt to upgrade on its 12-4 season record. The Hornets enter the challenge with a 4-7 record after their 10-0 non-league loss to Bullard (Fresno, CA).

The Thunderbirds (3-14) will now prepare for their challenge against Delano (Delano, CA). The Tigers enter the South Sequoia challenge with a 4-12 record.
