The Lansingburgh Knights softball team scored 17 runs and held the host La Salle Institute Cadets to 8 in the Knights league win on Thursday.

The Knights now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Voorheesville for a Section 2 Colonial battle on Tuesday, April 15.

With the loss, La Salle Institute moves to 0-4 on the season. The Cadets host Mohonasen (Schenectady, NY) to confront the Warriors in a Section 2 Colonial battle on Tuesday, April 15. The Warriors come into the battle with a record of 1-2. Mohonasen lost 15-3 in their recent non-league battle against Saugerties (Saugerties, NY)
