The Marshfield Pirates softball team scored 14 runs and held the visiting North Valley Knights to 2 in the Pirates non-league win on Thursday.

The Pirates now possess a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sweet Home for a non-league battle on Friday, April 11. Marshfield will confront a Huskies team coming off a 8-2 non-league win over Harrisburg (Harrisburg, OR). The Huskies record now stands at 6-2.

With the loss, North Valley moves to 4-6 on the season. The Knights host Klamath Union (Klamath Falls, OR) to confront the Pelicans in a non-league battle on Saturday, April 12. The Pelicans come into the battle with a record of 2-3. Klamath Union lost 13-1 in their recent league battle against Phoenix (Phoenix, OR)
