Arizona High School Softball - Mingus defeated by Mohave

The Mingus Marauders softball squad (Cottonwood, AZ), was routed 21-11 in Thursday's league contest with the host Mohave Thunderbirds (Bullhead City, AZ)

With the triumph, Mohave improves its record to 8-7 on the year. The Thunderbirds travel to Coconino (Flagstaff, AZ) to face the Panthers in a 4A Grand Canyon contest on Friday, April 11. The Panthers enter the contest with a record of 18-4. Coconino won 19-2 in their recent non-league contest against Marcos de Niza (Tempe, AZ)

The Marauders now hold a 3-10 record. They play next when they host Shadow Mountain for a non-league contest on Friday, April 11. Mingus will face a Matadors squad coming off a 17-16 league loss to Goldwater (Phoenix, AZ). The Matadors record now stands at 7-5.
