New York High School Softball - Monsignor McClancy gets by St. Francis Prep

The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Monsignor McClancy Crusaders (Queens, NY) and the visiting St. Francis Prep Terriers (Fresh Meadows, NY), observed Monsignor McClancy's softball team get by St. Francis Prep by a tally of 4-3.

The Crusaders (3-3) will now prepare for their bout against Cardinal Spellman (Bronx, NY). The The Pilots go into the Bronx/Westchester bout with a 1-4 record. In their last bout, Cardinal Spellman tipped Maria Regina (Hartsdale, NY), 14-10, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Terriers clash with the Sacred Heart Irish (Yonkers, NY) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, April 12. St. Francis Prep will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record.
