The Mosinee Indians overwhelmed the visiting Tomahawk Hatchets softball squad by a count of 10-0 in Thursday's league challenge.
Next, the Indians meet the Kaukauna Galloping Ghosts (Kaukauna, WI) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, April 11. Mosinee will attempt to upgrade on its 5-1 season record. The Galloping Ghosts go into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 7-1 non-league win over Middleton (Middleton, WI).
The Hatchets (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Lakeland (Minocqua, WI). The Thunderbirds go into the Great Northern challenge with a 4-1 record. In their last challenge, Lakeland toppled Medford (Medford, WI), 3-1, in a league challenge.
