The Salem Greyhounds (Salem, AR) softball routed the host Mountain View Yellowjackets (Mountain View, AR), 8-0 in Thursday's league outing.

The Greyhounds now sport a 11-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Izard County for a non-league outing on Tuesday, April 15. Salem will encounter a Cougars team coming off a 5-1 non-league win over Cotter (Cotter, AR). The Cougars record now stands at 8-5.

With the loss, Mountain View moves to 4-7 on the season. The Yellowjackets travel to Flippin (Flippin, AR) to encounter the Bobcats in a 3A Region 2 outing on Monday, April 14. The Bobcats come into the outing with a record of 11-4.
