The Timberland Wolves overwhelmed the visiting Philip Simmons Iron Horses softball squad by a count of 20-4 in Thursday's league challenge.
Next, the Wolves meet the Palmetto Scholars Academy Phoenix (North Charleston, SC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, April 11. Timberland will attempt to upgrade on its 7-6 season record. The Phoenix go into the challenge with a 4-4 record after their 15-0 league loss to Branchville (Branchville, SC).
The Iron Horses (1-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Palmetto Scholars Academy (North Charleston, SC). The Phoenix go into the non-league challenge with a 4-5 record. In their last challenge, Palmetto Scholars Academy was routed by Timberland (St. Stephen, SC), 16-4, in a non-league challenge.
