The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the West Chicago Wildcats (West Chicago, IL) and the visiting Ridgewood Rebels (Norridge, IL), observed West Chicago's softball team get by Ridgewood by a final score of 7-3.

The Wildcats (6-4) will now prepare for their bout against Wheaton-Warrenville South (Wheaton, IL). The Tigers go into the non-league bout with a 6-1 record. In their last bout, Wheaton-Warrenville South was routed by Oswego (Oswego, IL), 2-1, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Rebels battle the Fenton Bison (Bensenville, IL) in a Upstate Eight bout, on Monday, April 14. Ridgewood will attempt to better on its 3-2 season record. The Bison go into the bout with a 2-7 record after their 14-1 league loss to Riverside-Brookfield (Riverside, IL).
