In Thursday's league test, the Whitmire Wolverines (Whitmire, SC) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Thornwell Saints (Clinton, SC), by a tally of 11-1.
Next, the Wolverines meet the Ware Shoals Hornets (Ware Shoals, SC) in a A Region 1 test, on Tuesday, April 22. Whitmire will attempt to advance on its 10-4 season record.
The Saints (5-6) will now prepare for their test against McCormick (McCormick, SC). The Chiefs go into the A Region 1 test with a 0-7 record. In their last test, McCormick was routed by Ware Shoals (Ware Shoals, SC), 27-1, in a league test.
