The Aransas Pass Panthers baseball squad (Aransas Pass, TX), was overwhelmed 14-5 in Friday's league contest with the host Taft Greyhounds (Taft, TX)

With the triumph, Taft moves its record to 5-6 on the season.

The Panthers now possess a 7-18 record. They put it on the line next when they host Odem for a 3A Region IV District 29 contest on Tuesday, April 14. Aransas Pass will confront a Owls squad coming off a 8-1 league win over West Oso (Corpus Christi, TX). The Owls record now stands at 9-10.
