The Stuart Hornets baseball team scored 10 runs and held the host Battiest Panthers to 5 in the Hornets non-league win on Friday.
The Hornets now own a 14-5 record. They take the field next when they host Wright City for a non-league test on Saturday, April 11. Stuart will clash with a Lumberjax team coming off a 11-0 non-league win over Rock Creek (Bokchito, OK). The Lumberjax record now stands at 17-7.
With the defeat, Battiest drops to 10-8 on the year. The Panthers travel to Wright City (Wright City, OK) to clash with the Lumberjax in a McCurtain Six test on Tuesday, April 14. The Lumberjax go into the test with a record of 18-8. Wright City lost 10-0 in their recent non-league test against Stuart (Stuart, OK)
