In Friday's league game, the host Celina Bobcats baseball team scored a close 6-0 win over the Sanger Indians.
The Bobcats (17-9) will now prepare for their game against China Spring (China Spring, TX). The Cougars go into the non-league game with a 10-5 record. In their last game, China Spring nudged Lorena (Lorena, TX), 15-1, in a non-league game.
Next, the Indians play the Van Alstyne Panthers (Van Alstyne, TX) in a 4A Region II District 9 game, on Tuesday, April 14. Sanger will attempt to improve on its 13-9 season record. The Panthers go into the game with a 11-14 record after their 7-5 non-league loss to Pottsboro (Pottsboro, TX).
