The crowd at Friday's league battle between the Fernley Vaqueros (Fernley, NV) and the host Sparks Railroaders (Sparks, NV), saw Fernley's baseball team gain a win over Sparks by a tally of 15-3.

The Vaqueros (16-5) will now prepare for their battle against Sparks (Sparks, NV). The Railroaders enter the 3A Northern battle with a 0-17 record. In their last battle, Sparks was overwhelmed by Wooster (Reno, NV), 15-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Railroaders face the Fernley Vaqueros (Fernley, NV) in a 3A Northern battle, on Saturday, April 11. Sparks will attempt to upgrade on its 0-18 season record. The Vaqueros enter the battle with a 15-5 record after their 18-15 league win over South Tahoe (South Lake Tahoe, CA).
