The Lyman Hall Trojans baseball team scored 7 runs and held the host Guilford Grizzlies to 1 in the Trojans non-league win on Friday.
The Trojans now hold a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Branford for a non-league test on Monday, April 13. Lyman Hall will play a Hornets team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Foran (Milford, CT). The Hornets record now stands at 2-3.
With the defeat, Guilford drops to 1-3 on the year. The Grizzlies host Ridgefield (Ridgefield, CT) to play the Tigers in a non-league test on Saturday, April 11. The Tigers go into the test with a record of 1-3. Ridgefield won 13-9 in their recent non-league test against Newtown (Newtown, CT)
