Utah High School Baseball - Layton sneaks past Weber

April 10, 2026: Layton, UT 84041

In Friday's league game, the host Layton Lancers baseball team scored a close 9-8 victory over the Weber Warriors.

The Lancers (10-4) will now prepare for their game against Davis (Kaysville, UT). The Darts enter the 6A Region 1 game with a 9-7 record. In their last game, Davis held off Syracuse (Syracuse, UT), 24-9, in a league game.

Next, the Warriors face the Farmington Phoenix (Farmington, UT) in a 6A Region 1 game, on Tuesday, April 14. Weber will attempt to improve on its 2-12 season record. The Phoenix enter the game with a 2-11 record after their 15-0 non-league loss to Fremont (Plain City, UT).
