The Stringer Red Devils (Stringer, MS) baseball trounced the host Richton Rebels (Richton, MS), 8-1 in Friday's league challenge.
The Red Devils now own a 9-14 record. They take the field next when they host South Jones for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 11. Stringer will clash with a Braves team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Sumrall (Sumrall, MS). The Braves record now stands at 14-6.
With the defeat, Richton drops to 8-18 on the year. The Rebels travel to Clarkdale (Meridian, MS) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 13.
