Texas High School Baseball - Wagner loses to Smithson Valley

The Wagner Thunderbirds baseball squad (San Antonio, TX), was overwhelmed 12-1 in Friday's league contest with the visiting Smithson Valley Rangers (Spring Branch, TX)

With the triumph, Smithson Valley moves its record to 22-4 on the season. The Rangers travel to Tivy (Kerrville, TX) to confront the Antlers in a 5A Region IV District 26 contest on Tuesday, April 14. The Antlers come into the contest with a record of 13-11.

The Thunderbirds now possess a 3-20 record. They put it on the line next when they host Boerne-Champion for a 5A Region IV District 26 contest on Tuesday, April 14. Wagner will confront a Chargers squad coming off a 9-3 league win over Veterans Memorial (San Antonio, TX). The Chargers record now stands at 24-3.
