Ohio High School Softball - Wayne held off by Fairmont

In Friday's league test, the Fairmont Firebirds (Kettering, OH) softball squad got by the visiting Wayne Warriors (Huber Heights, OH), by a tally of 9-8.

Next, the Firebirds meet the Stebbins Indians (Riverside, OH) in a non-league test, on Saturday, April 11. Fairmont will attempt to advance on its 6-1 season record. The Indians go into the test with a 6-5 record after their 15-0 league loss to Greenville (Greenville, OH).

The Warriors (3-9) will now prepare for their test against Miamisburg (Miamisburg, OH). The Vikings go into the Greater Western Ohio test with a 1-4 record. In their last test, Miamisburg was nudged by Beavercreek (Beavercreek, OH), 13-0, in a league test.
