In Monday's non-league game, the host Monomoy Sharks baseball team scored a tight 4-2 victory over the Mashpee Falcons.
The Sharks (2-2) will now prepare for their game against Nantucket (Nantucket, MA). The Whalers go into the Cape & Islands game with a 0-4 record. In their last game, Nantucket by St. John Paul II (Hyannis, MA), 18-2, in a league game.
The Falcons (6-1) will now prepare for their game against Carver (Carver, MA). The Crusaders go into the South Shore game with a 3-1 record. In their last game, Carver tipped Hull (Hull, MA), 8-4, in a league game.
