In Monday's non-league game, the host Monroe County Tigers baseball team scored a tight 6-5 victory over the Southern Choctaw Indians.
The Tigers (6-8) will now prepare for their game against Southern Choctaw (Gilbertown, AL). The Indians go into the non-league game with a 1-10 record. In their last game, Southern Choctaw tipped Linden (Linden, AL), 5-1, in a league game.
The Indians (1-12) will now prepare for their game against Monroe County (Monroeville, AL). The Tigers go into the non-league game with a 4-8 record.
