In Monday's non-league game, the host North Surry Greyhounds baseball team scored a tight 11-5 victory over the South Stokes Sauras.
The Greyhounds (8-7) will now prepare for their game against Wilkes Central (Wilkesboro, NC). The Eagles go into the Foothills 2A game with a 2-11 record. In their last game, Wilkes Central tipped North Wilkes (Hays, NC), 18-8, in a league game.
The Sauras (6-5) will now prepare for their game against Starmount (Boonville, NC). The Rams go into the Northwest 1A game with a 5-9 record. In their last game, Starmount tipped Elkin (Elkin, NC), 7-6, in a league game.
