Darlington Falcons (Darlington, SC) fans were thrilled Monday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Lakewood Gators (Sumter, SC), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Falcons face the Lake City Panthers (Lake City, SC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, April 14. Darlington will attempt to better on its 1-11 season record. The Panthers enter the challenge with a 4-6 record after their 3-1 league win over Lakewood (Sumter, SC).
The Gators now have a 5-6 record. They take the field next when they host Lake City for a AAA Region 6 challenge on Tuesday, April 12. Lakewood will face a Panthers team coming off a 10-1 non-league win over Darlington (Darlington, SC). The Panthers record now stands at 3-6.
