East Lincoln Mustangs (Denver, NC) fans were thrilled Monday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host West Iredell Warriors (Statesville, NC), 7-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Mustangs face the Foard Tigers (Newton, NC) in a Western Foothills 3A challenge, on Thursday, April 14. East Lincoln will attempt to better on its 9-2 season record. The Tigers enter the challenge with a 7-2 record after their 7-0 league win over Statesville (Statesville, NC).

The Warriors now have a 2-7 record. They take the field next when they host Statesville for a Western Foothills 3A challenge on Thursday, April 14. West Iredell will face a Greyhounds team coming off a 7-0 league loss to Foard (Newton, NC). The Greyhounds record now stands at 0-10.
