In Monday's league battle, the visiting James River Knights soccer squad scored a good 9-0 triumph over the Floyd County Buffaloes.

The Knights (4-4) will now prepare for their bout against Glenvar (Salem, VA). The Highlanders enter the Three Rivers bout with a 5-1 record. In their last bout, Glenvar knocked off Carroll County (Hillsville, VA), 9-0, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Buffaloes battle the Alleghany Mountaineers (Covington, VA) in a Three Rivers bout, on Thursday, April 14. Floyd County will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record. The Mountaineers enter the bout with a 6-2 record after their 1-0 league win over Radford (Radford, VA).
