The John Paul II Golden Warrriors softball team scored 13 runs and limited the visiting Battery Creek Dolphins to 5 in the Golden Warrriors non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, John Paul II moves its record to 5-4 on the year. The Golden Warrriors travel to Thomas Heyward Academy (Ridgeland, SC) to clash with the Rebels in a SCISA A Region I game on Tuesday, April 12. The Rebels come into the game with a record of 3-7. Thomas Heyward Academy lost 10-4 in their recent league game against Colleton Prep Academy (Walterboro, SC)

In their next game, the Dolphins clash with the Oceanside Collegiate Academy Landsharks (Mt. Pleasant, SC) in a AAA Region 8 game, on Tuesday, April 19. Battery Creek will attempt to move on its 2-8 season record. The Landsharks come into the game with a 9-6 record after their 8-1 league loss to Hanahan (Hanahan, SC).
