In Monday's non-league contest, the Damascus Hornets (Damascus, MD) softball team overwhelmed the host Blair Blazers (Silver Spring, MD), by a margin of 14-2.
With the triumph, Damascus moves its record to 9-0 on the year. The Hornets host Rockville (Rockville, MD) to play the Rams in a Montgomery County 3A/2A contest on Tuesday, April 19. The Rams come into the contest with a record of 0-0.
