Braintree Wamps (Braintree, MA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Weymouth Wildcats (South Weymouth, MA), 18-0 in a league challenge.

The Wamps now own a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Walpole for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 13.

With the loss, Weymouth falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Walpole (Walpole, MA) to battle the Rebels in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 25. The Rebels enter the challenge with a record of 1-0.
