The West Elk Patriots softball team scored 16 runs and limited the visiting Cedar Vale/Dexter Spartans to 1 in the Patriots league triumph on Monday.
With the triumph, West Elk improves its record to 6-2 on the year. The Patriots host Flinthills (Rosalia, KS) to clash with the Mustangs in a non-league game on Thursday, April 21. The Mustangs come into the game with a record of 6-3.
