Trinity Hillers (Washington, PA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Chartiers Valley Colts (Bridgeville, PA), 11-4 in a league challenge.
The Hillers now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to South Fayette for a WPIAL 5A 4 challenge on Thursday, April 21.
With the loss, Chartiers Valley falls to 5-2 on the campaign. The Colts host South Fayette (McDonald, PA) to face the Lions in a WPIAL 5A 4 challenge on Wednesday, April 13. The Lions enter the challenge with a record of 4-3. South Fayette won 10-0 in their recent league challenge against Western Beaver (Industry, PA)
