West Virginia High School Softball - Webster County bounces Clay County

Spectators at Monday's league match between the Webster County Highlanders (Upper Glade, WV) and the host Clay County Panthers (Clay, WV), witnessed Webster County's softball squad prevail over Clay County by a count of 18-10.

The Highlanders now sport a 6-6 record. They play next when they host South Harrison for a Little Kanawha match on Tuesday, April 12. Webster County will face a Hawks squad coming off a 13-11 league loss to Clay-Battelle (Blacksville, WV). The Hawks record now stands at 3-9.

With the loss, Clay County moves to 0-4 on the season. The Panthers host Braxton County (Sutton, WV) to face the Eagles in a Little Kanawha match on Tuesday, April 12. The Eagles go into the match with a record of 3-3.
