Coginchaug Regional Blue Devils (Durham, CT) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Old Saybrook Rams (Old Saybrook, CT), 18-0 in a league challenge.

The Blue Devils now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Old Lyme for a Shoreline - Small challenge on Tuesday, April 12. Coginchaug Regional will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 14-0 league win over Westbrook (Westbrook, CT). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-0.

With the loss, Old Saybrook falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Rams host Morgan (Clinton, CT) to face the Huskies in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 13. The Huskies enter the challenge with a record of 1-4. Morgan lost 14-1 in their recent league challenge against North Branford (North Branford, CT)
