The Coventry Patriots routed the host Stafford Bulldogs softball squad by a count of 13-1 in Monday's league battle.

The Patriots (3-1) will now prepare for their battle against Rockville (Vernon, CT). The Rams go into the North Central Connecticut battle with a 2-0 record. In their last battle, Rockville topped Suffield (West Suffield, CT), 19-0, in a league battle.

The Bulldogs now sport a 1-1 record. They play next when they host East Granby for a North Central Connecticut battle on Wednesday, April 13. Stafford will meet a Crusaders squad coming off a 27-0 league win over Hartford Magnet Trinity College Academy (Hartford, CT). The Crusaders record now stands at 1-2.
