Wicksburg Panthers (Newton, AL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Daleville Warhawks (Daleville, AL), 16-0 in a league challenge.

The Panthers now own a 23-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Long for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 12. Wicksburg will battle a Rebels squad coming off a 11-8 league loss to Ariton (Ariton, AL). The Rebels record now stands at 9-6.

With the loss, Daleville falls to 2-15 on the campaign. The Warhawks travel to Samson (Samson, AL) to battle the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 14. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 10-10. Samson won 11-7 in their recent league challenge against Kinston (Kinston, AL)
