The Owen Warhorses softball team (Black Mountain, NC), 7-5 in Monday's league test with the host Draughn Wildcats (Valdese, NC)

Coming up next, the Wildcats encounter the McDowell Titans (Marion, NC) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, April 13. Draughn will attempt to improve on its 11-3 season record. The Titans enter the test with a 9-6 record after their 4-1 non-league loss to Alexander Central (Taylorsville, NC).

The Warhorses (8-4) will now prepare for their test against Rosman (Rosman, NC). The Tigers enter the Western Highlands 1A/2A test with a 8-4 record.
