The Riverside-Durham Pirates softball team scored 16 runs and limited the host Durham Academy Cavaliers to 0 in the Pirates non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Riverside-Durham improves its record to 4-6 on the year. The Pirates host Chapel Hill (Chapel Hill, NC) to clash with the Tigers in a DAC-VII 4A game on Tuesday, April 12. The Tigers come into the game with a record of 4-5. Chapel Hill won 10-0 in their recent non-league game against Durham School of the Arts (Durham, NC)

In their next game, the Cavaliers clash with the Cary Academy Chargers (Cary, NC) in a NCISAA Triangle game, on Tuesday, April 12. Durham Academy will attempt to improve on its 0-6 season record.
